As a Cellphone Repair Technician at Itech Solutions, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and other electronic devices.
Your primary duties will include assessing device issues, performing repairs or replacing damaged components, and ensuring the functionality and quality of each repair.
You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with clients regarding repair status and recommendations, and maintain an accurate record of repairs and parts inventory.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on a variety of mobile devices, tablets, computers, and other electronic devices
- Perform repairs or replace damaged components, such as screens, batteries, and charging ports
- Test and verify the functionality of repaired devices to ensure quality standards are met
- Provide timely and professional customer service, including explaining repair options and recommendations to customers
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts inventory
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile device technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends
- Open to additional training as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electronics or mobile device repair preferred
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.
- Strong understanding of mobile device hardware components and software systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies and repair techniques in the mobile device industry
